Every now and then we are getting special conveyorbelting orders and we are proud to just have finished one for a sugarplant conveying system.
We have produced a pair of extremely long conveyor belts that need to cover a distance between the sugar production line and the storage silo.
One belt is 95 meter long and the other is 85 meter.
Both belts are made from a special material that is not only resistant to the highly abrasive effect of granulated sugar, but also needs to be explosion-proof certified.
The production was a big challenge for the belting workshop because the enormous size and weight of these belts require very special handling and care, i.e. cutting to precize measurements.
